The wood floors held up so well over the decades because of her insistence that everyone remove their shoes before entering. Steve worked at home in one of the bedrooms where he created photo-simulations for cities, transit agencies, and environmental groups to help them visualize auto-oriented landscapes transforming into walkable neighborhoods. He had to fly to far-off locations and always just walked with his roller bag to del Norte BART to go to San Francisco International Airportno car required. He's gratified to see the increase over the years of pedestrians and bicyclists. In readying this house for you, serenity was primary. Both bedrooms look into the garden where you can hear the whispering of the willow. The kitchen is beautiful as is the bathroom with it's unique and subtle floor tiles. With only one wide step to the entrance the house is easy to access and there's a one-car garage right off the kitchen.
