Living in a space that is made of cob (earth, sand, straw and water mixed together) makes for a living space that is warm and cozy in the winter and cool and inviting in the summer. When walls are about 15 inches like the one on this property with French doors and another 10 windows of varying sizes...it makes for expansive living and vistas. Sunsets, sunrises and more. The skylight lets the stars and the moon in and the clear night skies coming through always inspires. The logs came from the Bighorn Mountains. A sink from Mexico (my favorite color) adds to the color of the cottage. The plumbing is nonexistent. Speaking of views. The antelope just roamed up and I think I'll go enjoy them. -MC- - The perimeter is fenced with four and five strands of barbed wire. - The terrain of the ranch has slight rolling hills with open spaces and a view of the Bighorn Mountains to the west. The vegetation is sagebrush, prairie grass with hard nutrients and wildflowers. The elevation is 4, 643 ft above sea level. - One private well and septic tank are located on the ranch. - New gate entrance was installed in 2022. - The Cob/Straw Bale Cottage was built in 2021. - The 1, 560 sf 1 1/2 story house was built in 1997 with many new upgrades:
