The large living room features a very unique fireplace which was built using stone, including stalagmites. All rooms are large and well maintained, including the three bedrooms, living room, dining room, and kitchen.The main bath was completely renovated and re-tiled in 2011. A new, beautifully tiled, walk-in shower replaced the old rusting tub, new fixtures, modern cabinets, and a newly tiled floor represent a 10,000 investment in that bathroom.As you step through the rear door of the kitchen you enter a back porch area, with dryer-washer hook ups at the far end. To the left, off this back porch is a one bedroom wfull bath large closet. This makes an excellent guest bedroom with complete privacy. In the past, this room has been rented as a one room efficiency, and has been used as a man-cave den. Passing through the back door you step onto a very large, elevated wooden deck that overlooks a huge, secluded back yard, adorned with five, large, producing pecan trees. We enjoyed many wonderful family meals grilling and eating on the deck on cool evenings.Located in the back yard and large west side yard are a separate garage, a shop building, and a large storage building. All have power. Several yard ornaments, including a concrete bird fountain, an ornamental windmill, and a second concrete bird drinking ornament, are strategically located on the large lot which is two city lots providing around three-fourths of an acre.The house has a wonderful slate roof, and is serviced by an all electric heat pump. City gas is available.In the fall of 2016 the outside woodwork eaves and window framework were painted and any needed repairs accomplished. All of the storm windows which also greatly improve energy efficiency were removed and cleaned. The house is in great shape and is a wonderful place to live and enjoy life.
