The 25 mile and 45 minute drive from the airport gives quiet seclusion to this property, yet is a modest 25 minutes from the nightlife of Cabarete, 50 from the Playa Grande Golf Course and nearby beach where you can order fresh from-the-bay fish cooked in a little beach shack and eat at a table with bare feet in the sand. Both places epitomize what living in the Caribbean is all about. Many other beaches are in hidden lagoons along this part of the north coast, including Playa Diamonte. Some say it is so named because of its incredible under-water, 40-meter visibility, others, because the quartz sand is as clear as diamonds. Almost, but not quite.
